2016 Outlook - "While most years come with a great deal of potential, this one stands out. We have the ability to follow up our programs first team bid to NCAAs in 2015 with an even stronger finish this year, but we are not expecting that to be easy. The top of DII continues to significantly raise the bar on itself every year and we are proud to be a part of it while looking to find a way to continue to move up the ranks. Led by our largest senior class to date, the potential is there to have a very special year. On the flip side, with a very small sophomore and junior class, we have a lot of very young athletes in key spots that will have to learn quickly and help the seniors leave their mark on the program.
"Our racing schedule is very competitive and diverse with great opportunities all over the country. We will travel to Florida for FIRAs, Philadelphia for Vails, and Seattle for Western Washington to complete the bulk of our Divisional Racing. We will also face tough DI competition in SMU (twice), Tulsa, and while hosting Creighton on the Oklahoma River. All of this as well as some more regional racing and a great Spring training trip in the hopes of earning another team trip to NCAAs in Sacramento."
