Conditions: Cold ENE wind, swirling on the course - mostly cross, some tailwind, some headwind. Pretty good water, though it felt more like late November than mid-May! In the 4V8 race, the Nobles' 3-seat's footstretcher came loose at about the halfway point; Belmont Hill already had a significant lead
Comments: Due to Covid-related absences, the line-ups of all Belmont Hill and Nobles crews below the 1V4 level were disrupted -- hats off to all the rowers and coxswain on both squads of rising to the challenges of this week! Thanks to the Nobles crews and coaches for making the trip downstream for some chilly but terrific Bassett Cup racing!
