Distance: 1500m Conditions: 8-10mph steady tailwind with good water; Conditions remained constant throughout the afternoon. Comments: Race order 4-2-3-1; In the 4V race, Deerfield and Newton overlapped oars at the start but there was no collision and it did not seem to affect boat speed. With 250 to go, Deerfield caught a boat-stopping crab and went sideways into Newton's lane, and Newton's oars hit the bow of the Deerfield boat. Both crews continued racing but there was damage to the bow of the Deerfield boat. This affected finish order as Newton was behind Deerfield before the crab. 4V race also started 20m over the line. Thank you to visiting crews for coming to Quinsigamond today!
