Distance: 2000M
Conditions: Varsity Eight race strong cross head at the start to strong and variable head wind down the course. The other races faced a strong cross wind at the start and first 500M, and then a variable cross head to head wind down the course.
Comments: Order of racing BV8, B2V8, B3V8, B58, BV8 & B2V8 1500M, B48. The BV8 & B2V8 1500M race was from a floating start, within two meters of the 500M mark on the 2000M course.
The conditions were challenging, especially at the start. The head wind gusted quite forcefully from time to time in the first three races.
