Conditions: Due to unrowable conditions on the normal course (25-35 MPH side wind) the races were run over 1000m on the river in front of the Boat house on flat water with a quartering head wind. The coaches agreed that the best format would be the best two out of three pieces would determine the winner. The times ranged between 2 min. 50 secs. and 3 min 10 secs for the 8's. Only the margin of difference was recorded. (no chase boats)
