Distance: 1,500m
Conditions: Very strong tailwind with increasingly sloppy water down the course for the first half of the day's races. Then there was a sudden cloudburst, and the wind decreased and became near calm by the end of the day. Order of races: 3rd, 2nd, 1st, Ltwt, Fr, 4+, 4th, 5th. The weather held and it was a great day of racing. Participating crews: Gonzaga, Kent School, St. Andrew's School (SAS), St. Joe's Prep, TC Williams (TCW), and Thomas Jefferson (TJ).
