Distance: 1500 meters
Conditions: Day began with light headwind and incoming tide on down river course. Rain and increased wind for first 2 races - novice boys and girls. Racing stopped for over an hour due to lightening. Storm passed and resumed racing - with light wind, moderate current, cooler temps...less tide effect in later races
Comments: Thanks to all for a good - and long - day of racing. Also, thanks for working together, coaches, putting safety first and being patient so as to get these races in. And thanks to E.O. Smith for joining the race with such short notice.
