Conditions: Unprecedented conditions for the first weekend in April; Sunny, low 50's, 6-8 mph WSW tailwind. Consistent conditions. Beautiful afternoon for racing!
Comments: The novice 8's began from floating starts. The "Battle of the Blades" is a points trophy awarded to the team that wins the most races contested between the boys and girls 1V4, 2V4, 3V4 and N8's. This year, Peddie earned the trophy by a score of 5 to 3. Unfortunately, Blair was unable to participate in the boys 3V4 thereby forfeiting that event. Many thanks to Blair for bringing good weather and good racing!
