Conditions: Very calm, intermittent rain, virtually flat water.
Comments: ***IMPORTANT NOTE TO THIS RACE*** Derryfield had to leave their boats at a highway exit due to a broken down hauling vehicle; they borrowed boats from Berkshire and should receive accolades for coming at all, let alone having to row with unfamiliar, sometimes sub par, equipment...the did manage to bring a few sets of their own oars. *Berkshire's "Mixed" boat in the Mixed event ended up not being mixed - it was all boys. Since racing took longer than expected (see above) the female rower in the boat had to leave for personal reasons. A male varsity rower was substituted.
