Distance: 1500 meters
Conditions: Strong tailwind at the beginning of racing that disappeared by the end of the day. In the third/novice boys 4 the boats collided and were about 200 meters down course when they were restarted. There was also a collision in the boys 1st four which stopped the race. It was then run again for the 1500 meters. Canterbury 1st and 2nd girls four raced each other. Order of racing nov 4, 3rd four 1st and 2nd four raced in the same race.
