Conditions: Heavy cross headwind, 18-22 MPH with gusts up to 40 calming down throughout the day. Bone chilling rain, mostly heavy. Slight chop calming down later in the day and becoming calm towards the end. Very rowable conditions. Roughest conditions were for the Varsity 8's race.
Comments: Thank you to New York Rowing Association for hosting us and thank you to Saugatuck, St Joe's Prep and Mount for a great day of racing on a very cold, wet and windy day. The Varsity 8 Race was off of a stake boat start. All other starts were floating starts and started over the line. Head winds for the Varsity 8's were very strong. Times should not be compared.
