Distance: 1500m Conditions: racing downstream with a light cross-headwind; approx. 60 degrees and sunny Comments: The straight course proved to vex a number of coxswains including my own at times. In the first boat race there was some unfortunate crossing of oars between MX and Brooks. Later races went more smoothly as coxswains were given more explicit instructions on this new course.
Thank you to Brooks and Nobles for agreeing to race in Concord this year and for managing tight launching conditions at the public landing.
A special thank you to all parents from all three schools who came to support their sons and daughters even though they were unable to view the races.
