Distance: 1400 meters
Conditions: Due to strong winds, the race course was reversed and had to be shortened. There was a strong cross wind at the start and a very strong tailwind and choppy water/whitecaps in the second half of the race.
Comments: Because of the strong cross tailwind at the start, many races were started over the line and all were started at different spots. The times between races should not be compared. Race order was 3, 2, 1, 4, 5, 6. The girls 4th 5th and 6th were done with a moving start. In the girls 4th boat race, Porters started two seats down so their time probably should be much closer if not exactly the same as Gunnery's.
