Distance: 3 miles
Conditions: Varsity races, 3 miler: calm at start for first 1000m, but then a strong headwind/choppy conditions for 3000m; calmer into finish for last 1000m.
Novices, short course: raced best of 3 x 1000m, in varying chop and whitecaps, with and against wind.
Comments: Novice best-of-three series won by Roland Park in two races. First 1000m was very close--1.5 seconds between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd crews. Very clean rowing by all four novice crews, despite tricky conditions.
