Distance: 1500 Meters
Conditions: Rain alternating between heavy and light all afternoon. Variable tailwind of up to 5 mph - dead calm at start of First Boat Race, but tailwind picked up by halfway. Floating Starts.
**In fourth boat race all three boats were near even after 400 meters when the SM boat completely jumped a seat.
Excellent racing by crews and a job well done by coxswains in tricky starting conditions - many thanks to Deerfield and Brooks for driving to
Quinsig. Special thanks to Mr. Ken Wells for marshalling the race course.
