Distance: 1500 M
Conditions: Variable gusty winds throughout the afternoon, from quartering tail at start to some cross and quartering head at various points on the course. Flat water.
Comments: G2 - Berkshire's steering cable broke less than 100 meters into the race. There was a restart, but Berkshire was unable to compete.
G5 - Choate stopped short of the finish line and drifted over, so the margin would have been about 10 seconds greater had they taken the last couple of strokes.
Thanks to Choate, Taft, and Chase for a great day of racing.
