Comments: Washington led from the start and increased their lead to 4 seats by 1000m. Washington may have led by as much as 5 seats at 500 to go. Washington sprinted at 450 to go and Wisconsin went at 350, closing the gap rapidly. At 5 strokes to go, each crew surged into the lead according to who was on the drive and recovery.
