Conditions: Steady headwind at 10-15mph throughout course.
Comments: In the 3V8 race, the crews caught up to a leading race on the course of novice girls with 250m to go. To avoid overtaking the girls' crew, BHS steered into a neighboring lane to finish the race and lost several seconds worth of time. St. John's course was unaffected. At the time of the incident, St. John's led by 1 seat of open water, so the outcome was not affected although the time was.
