Conditions: It was a high of 87 and a low of 57 degrees. Very hot this year for rowing 115 miles.
We had 15 boats and 47 rowers. Four USRowing Refs following in safety launches.
No injury nor incident, all boats completed the journey.
River level was 3 feet at Corvallis.
This year's event was won by Rainer Storb (72) and Todd Sliver (54) in a 2x. Second place was Jordan Hansson and Greg Spooner in a double who this time last year were rowing across the Atlantic. (I heard them say CRP was tougher!) Third place was Robert Meenk in a single. The list goes on!
