Greetings from Iraq. Passing along the results of the 1st Annual Green Zone Indoor Rowing Regatta held in Baghdad. Due to serious security concerns, the regatta was moved indoors off the Tigris (locals tell us the outside lane on the Tigris is slower than the one on Quinsig.)

Bob Reichart of Trinity College fame organized the regatta for us here at the gym near the US Embassy. Had a pretty good showing considering the location with several former collegiate oarsmen and women participating. C2 helped us out by sending new toe-straps for the ergs and indoor rowing competition instructions.
