The races were run on a course from a floating start so pieces were 1000 meters +/- 10 meters. Every boat raced two pieces. In the afternoon, the eights split into fours. Comments: There was occasional boat wake. During the first race of the 3rd Varsity 4, a big wake caused the boats to come to a near stop.
