Distance: 1500 meters
Conditions: First 500 meters has several bends to complete a 75 degree turn from start. Last 1000 meters straight. Event order: Frosh A/B, 2V, Frosh C/D/E, 3V 1V. Head wind increased through the morning from 10mph at beginning to 18mph by end. Varsity races were from stakebuoy. Frosh races were a 1600 meter head race. All races with a light tail current.
Comments: Series began in 1992, and the contest is annually held on the morning of the day of the Michigan-Ohio State football game, at the site of the game. Michigan now leads series 12 - 2.
