Distance: 1500m
Conditions: Stiff tail wind all day, gusting 20+mph against incoming tide. Moderate chop during morning duals, heaviest chop during frosh, novice and JV races. Tide turned out at beginning of Varsity 8 finals, wind slightly reduced.
Comments: Crews and officials did a terrific job managing windy, choppy conditions. All races were run safely and on schedule, with floating quick starts. Most races plus/minus 50m. Due to weather condition delayed launch, Wilson Frosh girls V8 were late to starting line and missed race. Schools participating: B-CC, McLean, National Cathedral, St. Albans, Westfield, Wilson. Race order: 1V8 and 2V8 duals/tris; Frosh/nov/JV finals, 1V8 and 2V8 finals.
