Distance: 1500m
Conditions: run on 15 minute centers. Race order was 2.4.1.3 ; Deefield hotseated 3rd stroke to 2nd.
strong tailwind gusts. As a result of the tail wind, and racing with the current, all races started 1 -2 lengths above the line, and the wind gusts make it hard to say who had the strongest wind, but probably the 4th boats did.
Comments: Girls third boat race:
** A power boat slowly crossed the course and interfered with Deerfield with 600 m to go (they were 2 seats down to Middlesex at the time). They stopped to avoid hitting the boat, restarted and then went outside the next two bouys, shortening the course. With 3 strokes to go, Middlesex 2 seat caught an over-the-head crab and they drifted over.
