Distance: 2200 meters Conditions: Flat water no wind. Strong tail current. High 30's for the race. Floating starts. Comments: This was part of a dual day of racing for both the Cincinnati and GVSU. UC won the Inaugural "Grand Bucket". The V8 race was a pitched battle with UC surging by a half deck in front of GVSU on the last stroke of the race.
