Distance: 1500
Conditions: Strong and gusting cross winds, increasing to gale force, or at least that's the way it felt.
Comments: Despite steady 25mph winds and gusts at 40mph, the position of the course and protected nature of the pond allowed for racing. The very strong cross wind made the racing challenging at times, but crews and coxswains handled it all well. The B Fr/Nov 4 had a collision and restart, so no time taken. The B V4 times are slightly suspect except for the winning time since there was a novice flagger at the finish. Teams racing: St. Andrew's School (SAS), St. Paul's School MD (SPS), Shipley, Rumson Fair Haven (RFH), and Freedom Rowers.
