Comments: The winner of the varsity 8 race between Georgetown and George Washington wins the Class of 1998 Cup. Georgetown retained the Class of 1998 Cup.
There is a points competition among the V8, 2V8 and V4 boats of George Mason, Georgetown and George Washington for the Georges Cup. The point totals this year were Georgetown 16, George Washington 14, George Mason 6. Georgetown retains the Georges Cup.
