Comments: Thirteen hardy souls braved the elements and kicked off the New Year with some strokes on the erg.
The HUBC 1 team of Bailey/Webb/Trott set an event record for the marathon, rowing an extraordinary average split of 1:37.5 for the piece. After handicapping, their average split still edged that of HUBC 2 (Fuller/Fuller/Berger) by .9 second.
In the battle of BHSers, the current crop (Ganong/Dillon/Bergantino) were a bit quicker than the alums (Gibson/Hamilton/Hurd).
