Comments: According to the agreed upon rules, the Novice 8+ race was restarted at 450m gone due to two boat stopping over the head crabs in the Lawrenceville crew. Peddie had been one length ahead at the time, but Lawrenceville pulled through after the restart.
The Brown Cup is a points trophy that has been contested for 23 years between Peddie and Lawrenceville and is awarded to the program, boys and girls, that accumulates the greatest number of points. Lawrenceville retains the cup by earning 48 points to Peddie's 44.
