Conditions: Blustery cross-headwind all day but good water. Stronger for the earlier races. Race order 1V8, 2V8, V4A, V4B, 3V8. Because of the gusting wind, it is hard to compare one race to the next for times. Note in the Varsity 8s race, Syracuse had equipment breakage before the start, it was repaired, but not before a delay in the cold conditions.
Comments: The Doc Hosea Invitational has 2 parts. 2 races between 5 teams each. Because of the number of crews fielding a 2nd four, UMass moved to the other part of the regatta in that event. See Doc Hosea Invitational Round 2 for the rest of the results
