Distance: 1500m
Conditions: Strong headwind and rain at start, tempering slightly over the course of the race.
Comments: Worcester A's 2-seat lost her rigger pin at the start of the final sprint and the oarlock and backstay came off. This boat and Worcester Academy were neck and neck down the entire course, fighting to row through Shrewsbury. The Worcester B boat was waked by quite a few returning crews for most of their race.
Thanks to all for an exciting finish to the Lake Quinsig novice racing season.
