Distance: 2000 meters Conditions: Flat water conditions; wind was light from the starboard side and had a negligible effect due to the protecting shore.
Races were done on a tidal body of water at the time of a slight incoming tide. Comments: It was a floating start; race course had starting and finishing buoys, nothing else.
1V8+ race was at 7:15a, 2V8+ race at 7:30a.
Tide was gradually slowing.
