HS/Scholastic: MAPL League/Mercer Cup (Boys)
April 26, 2008; Mercer Lake, NJ

Submitted by Colin Campbell.

Distance: 1500m
Conditions: Strong headwinds and significant chop forced floating starts 50-100m in front of the starting platform. Most races were roughly 1400m. The second boys four race was probably 1450m. Conditions were fairly consistent, strong headwind, sizable chop, and intermittent gusts.
Comments: Once the novice eights went to a floating start the racing progressed fairly well. Most of the crews handled the difficult conditions very well. Blair won the MAPL championship, winning all three fours races that scored. Lawrenceville won the Mercer Cup by winning all four scoring races.
