Conditions: All races were floating starts.
Light and variable winds for the morning heats. Headwind starting to build at the start of the afternoon finals. Light to moderate for the first few pm races. By the time of the MJV8 there was a strong headwind in the last 1300 meters of the course. By the time of the Men's and Women's varsity eights the wind was stronger w/ gusts all the way down the course. There is a dogleg in the course similar to Philly.
Note: In the men's pair, Duquesne was moved to first due to a protest.

The coaches' meeting was held following the regatta and the 2006 MACRA will be held again in Athens, Ohio and the 2007 MACRA will be held on the Grand River in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The event will then be held every other year in Athens and Grand Rapids. The date of the event will continue to be the first Saturday in May.
