Conditions: Conditions: Flat, calm, cold. Distance: about 1700m. Racing was done in three rounds, the first being in dual format, the second being in pack format, and the third being everyone still standing. There was breakage in both the Boston Latin and Brooline boats during the G2 race in the third round. Starting position on the course varied somewhat from race to race.

The First Salvo Cup is awarded to the winner of two of the three varsity races in the first round. Because the second boats tied in the first round, the second round results were counted towards the Cup totals.
