Distance: 1300m
Conditions: Heavy headwind and white caps for all races in the first 1000m. Calm conditions in the last 300m. Was blowing 15-20mph for GV4, BV4, and BN4. By the GN4 event, it was gusting at 25-30mph.
Comments: Had several false starts on last event, girls' novice 4+, due to heavy wind gusting blowing boats sideways at starting line. Ended up starting them about 50 meters past the actual start line for better boat-to-boat spacing.
