Distance: 1200 meters Conditions: A beautiful day on the Nashua River. Little flow of current. Some gusting headwinds in the second half of the course. Very good racing conditions. Congratulations to the Nobles crews. They win the Cooke Family Cup, a point trophy awarded to the school with the most winning crews, boya and girls. Comments: In the 4th boat race, Groton, down by about a length and half, caught a crab and lost a seat with about 200 meters to go. It took a long time to get going again and resulted in the fifteen second margin.
