Conditions: 19 - 25 mph quartering headwind from port side (west), gusting to 40mph. Temp 38 - 45 degrees. Choppy with whitecaps. Order of races: ML8/2V8, MV4, MF/NLt.8, W2V8, WV8, MF/N8, MV8. WN8 was cancelled.
Comments: In Men's Varsity Eight, at the 1000 meter mark, U. of Rochester in second, open water back of GV1v and bow to stern up on GV2v, when waves filled the boat to their ankles. The MV4 race was a close one to the end with all three boats holding the lead at one point in the race.
