Distance: 1500m(Fr)-2mile(3V)-3mile(2V)-4mile(1V) Conditions: Perfect racing conditions: flat water; no wind; very slight tail current (9000 cfs). Conditions consistent for all races. Comments: Very good, determined side-by-side racing by all crews. The 4-mile race was particularly impressive between Fox Chapel and Allderdice for 2nd place, with FC leading Allderdice through the 2-mile mark and then Allderdice coming back to win in the final 2 miles with both crews sprinting at close to 40 spm in the final 1/3 mile (after coming down the course at 32-34 spm). Both crews were extremely tenacious.
