Distance: 2000m
Conditions: Challenging conditions. Temps high 30s, low 40s. Strong direct headwind all day, with varying intensity. Pretty good water for what the wind was doing.
Comments: In the 3rd Varsity race, Gtown and Pton were in a very tight race at the 1000m mark when a Gtown oarsman caught a crab and was unable to recover it for about 400m.
The Gtown 4V and Princeton 6V were comprised entirely of novice walk-on athletes, with a few who were able to race twice today, and many more who were racing there first ever 2000m EARC Cup race. Congratulations to them.
