Distance: 1500m Conditions: Overcast and cool, 65 F. SW wind at 8-10 mph. Good and consistent conditions for racing. Comments: In the 3rd varsity four, Lawrenceville-A had an oarsman catch a crab and get ejected from the boat. When he was returned via the launch, they continued to race. The two Lawrenceville 3rd fours then combined and rowed the Freshman/Novice eight race as a non-scoring entry.
Good competitive racing all afternoon. Though each school won four events (boys and girls), based on having the larger margin of finish in a first boat race, Lawrenceville wins the Brown Cup.
Thank you to all the competitors and coaches for a competitive day of racing.
