Distance: 1500m
Conditions: 8-10 mph Quartering headwind on the course, producing chop in the middle 500 meters. Less wind at the start and finish. Fairly consistent throughout the races.
Comments: In the G3 race, Groton caught a series of crabs that cost the boat several seconds to recover from. During the B3 race, a Groton oar came out of its oarlock after a crab. The boat recovered and finished the race but lost at least 15-20 seconds in recovery. Thanks to all crews and coaches for coming up to Lake Cochichewick on a beautiful May afternoon - at last. Some very close finishes that went to video review.
