Distance: 1500 meters (+/-)
Conditions: Moderate tail current, light quartering tail wind. Races were started before and after the line because of current and lining up six boats.
Comments: In the first boat race, Waynflete had a couple of jumped and jammed slides. They ended up several minutes behind the pack. In the 3rd four race, Yarmouth and Waynflete both led Hyde by about a length. Waynflete had already crossed to the other side of Hyde and then mixed oars with Yarmouth. Both Yarmouth and Waynflete were forced to stop, and Hyde moved ahead of them. Waynflete, as the crew out of its lane, was later found to be at fault.
