Conditions: 10-15mph variable crosswind occasional shifting slightly to a tailwind, with medium to heavy chop over most of the course. Difficult to steer straight. Floating starts and no lane lines.
Comments: Weather turned magically sunny and calm just for the novice race (after a hail squall during warm-up). Pacific V8 and N8 were the same crew, and Willamette doubled one rower from the V8 to the N8. Puget Sound doubled one rower from the 2V8 to the N8.
