Distance: 1500 meters
Conditions: Conditions were difficult. Strong tailwind and extreme chop rowing against the current for start of racing. Slight headwind later in the day racing with the current. Course was moved to alternate course.
Comments: Times should not be compared between races as it was extremely difficult to get all boats exactly on the line due to the wind conditions. In addition, the course was completely changed to an alternate course part way through the racing because of wind and chop. Note: In the 1V race Baylor caught an over the head boat stopping crab 100 meters into the racing. In the 3V race McCallie caught an over the head boat stopping crab 500 meters into the race. Novice 4x race was started 300 meters over the line then McCallie broke an oar with about 500 meters to go.
