Conditions: Conditions were similar for all races. Very strong tail current, floodwaters, little to no wind.
Comments: Thank you to St. John's for making the trip. We had to delay the racing for over an hour due to storms, sleet, hail, and high wind. However, we had a window of decent weather to race. The river was at flood stage, so it made for fast racing. Note, due to the strong tail current, and the third boat started 150 meters down the course before we got them even for a start. Also, Kent's third boat caught an over-the-head, boat stopping crab halfway through the race, though they were able to complete the race.
