Varsity 8 Dartmouth 3:23.7 Syracuse - about 3/4 length open water behind. Dartmouth was up 3-4 seats when a button broke at 600 meters down. The race was restarted at the margin, and the crews raced the rest of the course (about 1300). The ref did not take a time for Syracuse.
