HANOVER, N.H. -- The varsity result should change the New England
rankings as Dartmouth came into the race third with Massachusetts
sixth. The UMass varsity was runner-up at the inaugural NCAA
Championship last year in Sacramento, Calif.
Brown and Northeastern continue to hold down the Nos 1-2 spots,
and Massachusetts will probably move up to third with Dartmouth
shifting to fourth. The Big Green varsity can still qualify
for the NCAA Championship, May 28-31, at Gainesville, Ga.
as the top four varsity boats in New England will advance.
Dartmouth next rows at the EAWRC Regatta in Connecticut
on Sunday, May 10.
