At Silverskiff are enrolled 528 adult rowers and at Kinderskiff 268 young rowers for a total of 796.
Official presentation of Silverskiff Regatta on television is going to be held on Tuesday November the 4th. SKY is also expected.
Country Enrollments: Italy (379 rowers), Suisse (40), USA (23), Germany (18), Austria (14), France (11), Holland (8), Sweden (7), UK (6), Spain (5), Australia (3), Belgium (3), Monaco (3), Poland (2), New Zeeland (2), Czech Republic (1), Egypt (1), Russia (1) e Denmark (1) for a total of 19 Country.
There is one departure every 20 seconds for the length of176 minutes (aproximately 3 hours). There are 25% more enrollments than last year. Filippi offers 58 skiffs free of charge. Many Italian Rowing Clubs are offering boats for the regatta.
Mahe Drysdale will be competing with Choen and Sivigny (who arrived second last year). In the women's competition are competing Emma Twigg (silver at Beijing) and Yulia Levina (bronze at last World Championship). Regarding Women LW Karlsson will be competing against Burke. From Italy enrolled Elia Luini, Marcello Miani, Lorenzo Bertini, Daniele Gilardoni, Giorgio Tuccinardi, and Luca & Matteo Motta brother.
Greg Benning Vice President of the Head of the Charles enrolled also. We recommend the European Single Scull Slam between Silverskiff Regatta, Armada Cup and Klagenfurter Regatta and a World Single Scull Slam between Silverskiff Regatta, Armada Cup, Klagenfurter Regatta and Head of the Charles.
Starting from Thursday November the 5th a free shuttle service is going to be available to pick up the rowers arriving at Turin Airport. Sunday evening classical party at Villa Abegg, beautiful location on the hill in front of Cerea's Club.
