Wellesley Claims 1st 2025 NCAA Bid, Headed Back to DIII Championship

Wellesley Crew won the NEWMAC Championship on Saturday, becoming the first team to lock up a bid for the 2025 NCAA Division III Championship by claiming the conference's Automatic Qualifier.
Winning the AQ for the 2025 Championships marks a return to the NCAAs for Wellesley, which won the 2023 Division III title in its last appearance.
Wellesley has won three team titles in NCAA history (2016, 2022, 2023), and is ranked 8th in the latest Pocock CRCA Poll.
The three remaining AQs for the eight school Division III field will be decided at the Liberty League Championship (5/2), MARC Championship (5/4), and NESCAC Championship (5/11). The NCAA Division III Selection Show is set for Tuesday, May 13th at 4:30 PM EST.
